I’ve been spending the majority of my time working on finding a new job. I am, however, working on a couple of other posts so hopefully in the next few days I can tighten them up and get them posted.
I have an EdenFantasys post brewing and also a recap of STRIPCon to get finished up. I’m working on keeping some balance between having my nose to the grindstone to find a good job and getting other things that need to be done actually DONE. The job hunting is winning out right now.
And my nightmare project right now is trying to figure out how I can make my desk something other than an ergonomic nightmare. Now that I am spending many hours a day at my desk, I am finding it is not really set up for me to be doing that. Of course, remembering to get up and move around is something I need to be better at, as well.
It took some serious pushing myself, but I also went out to my writer’s group tonight. I didn’t accomplish alot but I got out of the house and that was something that I did really need to do. I’m doing my volunteering on Thursday evening. (Which I hope to be able to continue doing once I find a new job. It will depend on the location of the job and whether I have some flexibility with hours, though).
